Dr. Gerald Lushington received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick. The author of 181 journal articles, nine book chapters and four patents, Lushington is currently Principal Consultant at LiS Consulting, and serves as Adjunct Professor of Food Nutrition Dietetic Health at Kansas State University. With more than 25 years experience in the application of molecular modeling, simulation and informatics to a diverse range of scientific applications, Lushington's primary areas of focus are in drug discovery and pharmacology.

Prof. A. Douglas Kinghorn has been Professor and Jack L. Beal Chair in Natural Products Chemistry and Pharmacognosy at the College of Pharmacy, The Ohio State University (OSU) since 2004. He has co-authored about 550 peer-reviewed research articles, review articles, and book chapters. His research interests include the isolation and structural characterization of bioactive natural products from higher plants, particularly potential anticancer agents, antileishmanial compounds, cancer chemopreventives, and taste-modifying substances. Of multiple honors obtained, he received the 2010 Norman R. Farnsworth Research Achievement Award from the American Society of Pharmacognosy and in 2016 the Distinguished Scholar Award from OSU.

Horst Flotow is a biochemist with many years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, including Roche in the UK, MerLion Pharmaceuticals and Lilly Systems Biology in Singapore. He joined the Experimental Therapeutics Centre when it was established in 2007 as the founding Group Leader for the HTS group and the Head of the Singapore Screening Centre. In 2015 he moved to Konstanz in Germany to take up his current position as the CEO of Hit Discovery Constance.

Dr. Nilar received his Ph.D. and the Diploma in Chemical Physics from the Quantum Theory Project, University of Florida, USA. His area of speciality is Intermolecular Interactions. Dr. Nilar has many years of experience in the molecular design of novel drug candidates against various infectious, neglected and tropical diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis-C, Hepatitis-B and Dengue Fever. He has over 80 international publications and presentations in peer reviewed scientific journals and conferences, international patents and software copyrights. In addition, he is an Associate Editor of Current Computer Aided Drug Design.

Prof. Dr. Selin Şahin started her scientific career with a MSc in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul University in 2005. During her PhD, she had an experience as a Guest Researcher with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) by means of Council of Higher Education scholarship, enabling her to have ability on Natural Product Research through many bioactivity measurements as well as knowledge about statistics. She has supervised a number of national and international MSc and PhD students, and many publications (SCI/SCI-E) have been produced from the theses of the relevant students since 2016. She has published 106 papers of which 100 of them have been published in SCI/SCI-E journals. Additionally, she has been listed among the “World Top 2% Scientists” announced by Stanford University twice (2020 and 2021).

Ahmed Al-Amiery (h-index= 26), is a Professor at University of Technology. Prof. Al-Amiery is the head of Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center, University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. He has over 140 scientific papers and projects either presented or published and 13 patents. He is an internationally recognized expert in many areas of applied chemistry (Synthesis of Organic Molecules and applied these molecules as corrosion inhibitors, antioxidants, scavengers, antimicrobial and anti-cancer in addition to theoretical chemistry). He is a visitor professor at the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Al-Amiery has obtained post-doctoral degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Paula B. Andrade, PhD, is the Head of Laboratory of Pharmacognosy of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Porto University, where she teaches “Phytochemistry and Pharmacognosy” and “Bioactivity of Natural Matrices” subjects. She is a senior researcher of the Associated Laboratory REQUIMTE/LAQV, heading the Natural Products group. She has more than 25 years of research experience in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Current research interests are metabolomics (primary and secondary metabolites) and bioactivities (anti-inflammatory and neuroprotection) of natural matrices, including both terrestrial and marine organisms. She authored more than 300 publications which are indexed in the international journals.

Prof. Bazylak received Ph.D. in Food Chemistry from the Technical University of Lodz (Poland) and D.Sc. (habilitation) in Pharmacy from the Medical University of Gdansk (Poland). He worked as post-doc in the Medical University of Lodz (Poland) and the University of Antwerp (Belgium). From 2004 he is working as the Associate Professor and Head of Pharmaco-Bromatology and Molecular Nutrition at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Collegium Medicum, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Bydgoszcz (Poland). He has published more than 150 scientific publications, edited the 12 special topic issues of international scholary journals and is a member of Polish Herbal Committee, German Society for Medicinal Plants & Natural Products Research and Human Proteome Organization (USA).

Dr. Jorddy Neves Cruz obtained a Ph.D degree in Medicinal Chemistry (2018) from Federal University of Pará, Brazil. He is a Professor and Researcher in Federal University of Pará and Researcher in Paraense Emílio Goeldi Museum. His research focuses on (1) Medicinal Chemistry, with a special emphasis in drug design; (2) molecular modeling approaches in the discovery of new drugs and (3) evaluation of biological activities and pharmacological potential of natural and synthetic compounds

Prof. Dondas received his Ph.D. degree in 1997 from University of Leeds, UK (under the supervision of Professor Ronald Grigg and received Best Ph.D. Thesis award). In 1997 he was appointed as Assistant Professor and later become Associate Professor in 2001 at Mersin University. Since March 2007, he has been promoted to full Professor at Mersin University.

Prof. Zhen Fang is leader and founder of biomass group of the College of Engineering at Nanjing Agricultural University. He is the inventor of “fast hydrolysis” process. He is Editor-in-Chief of Springer Book Series – Biofuels and Biorefineries, and Associate Editors of Biotechnol Biofuels (IF 5.3) & J Supercrit Fluid (IF 3.0). He also serves in the editorial (advisory) boards of Biofuel Bioprod Bior, Energy Sustain Soc, and Energy Policy Res. Prof. Fang is specializing in thermal/biochemical conversion of biomass, nanocatalysts synthesis and their applications, pretreatment of biomass for biorefineries. He obtained his PhDs from China Agricultural University and McGill University.

Lin Huang is currently research scientist at the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences, A*STAR, Singapore. He received his DEA and PhD in surface organometallic chemistry and catalysis from the Institut de Recherches sur la Catalyse, CNRS, France. His research interests include surface organometallic chemistry, metal catalysis towards hydroformylation, carbon-carbon coupling, ethanol steam reforming and hydrogenation of monoglyderides, solid acid catalysis for dehydration of biomass derivatives such as glycerol and lactic acid, conversion of syngas to light olefins.

Dr. Alfred Hagemeyer joined Rennovia in 2011 to apply high throughput methodologies to the discovery of catalysts for the production of chemicals from bio-renewable feedstocks. Before joining Rennovia, Alfred was Group Leader at the Catalysis Lab of Sud-Chemie (now Clariant) in Munich developing catalysts for the gas-phase oxidation of commodity chemicals. Prior to joining Sud-Chemie in 2006, he was Distinguished Scientist at Symyx Technologies, conducting high-throughput catalysis research across a wide range of application areas, including selective oxidations and hydrogenations, emissions control and fuel reforming. Before moving to Symyx in 1998, Alfred was a Senior Scientist with Hoechst, Frankfurt, and Project Leader with BASF, Ludwigshafen, after Post-Doctoral Research at The University of Bologna, Italy. Alfred has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Max-Planck-Institute of Polymer Research, Mainz, Germany, a M.Sc. in Physics and a M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Dortmund, Germany, and authored more than 100 issued patents and scientific articles, ranging from novel catalysts and materials to high-throughput screening technology.

He is a PhD holder from The University of New South Wales, specializing in the area of renewable energy from biomass. He is currently an Associate Professor of chemical reaction engineering at Universiti Malaysia Pahang. His field of interest includes renewable energy, steam reforming, dry reforming, hydrothermal process, photocatalysis and reaction engineering.

Prof. Chao Liu received Ph.D. degree in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2008. He was a visiting scholar at City University of Hong Kong and University of Western Australia. Since 2008, he has been at Northeast Petroleum University and is a doctoral supervisor of Chemistry Engineering and Technology. His research mainly focuses on label-free detection technologies and applications, including nano-optics bio-sensing of nanoparticles based on local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR), photonic crystal fiber sensors based on SPR in bio-sensing fields, nanoantenna biological diagnosis.

Dr. Ali Maleki received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2009. He started his career as an Assistant Professor in Iran University of Science and Technology in 2010, where he is currently Associate Professor. His research interests focus on design and development of novel catalysts, nanochemistry and green chemistry. He has more than 100 ISI-JCR publications. He has been selected as a distinguished researcher of IUST within 2010-2017. Dr. Maleki was awarded the 2016 IUPAC prize for green chemistry.

Dr. Magiatis obtained a doctorate (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Athens, Greece. Dr. Magiatis has worked as visiting professor in the University of California- Davis and as an adjunct professor in the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Medicine. He has published more than 120 scientific publications and is an inventor of 10 patents. His field of expertise is related to natural products chemistry and pharmacology and especially olive oil. He has discovered five molecules that are commercially available as pharmacological tools (kinase inhibitors and apoptotic agents).

Dr. Melagraki is an experienced consultant in chemoinformatics, nanoinformatics and applied drug and materials design projects. She has a strong scientific background in the field of computational and organic chemistry and she has developed several computational tools to support decisions under uncertainty using virtual screening and informatics methods that significantly reduce costs and timescales. Her scientific work has been published in >40 international peer reviewed journals (h-index=20, Google Scholar) and her articles have been highlighted several times in the top cited/accessed articles. Dr. Jayanta Kumar Patra is working as an Assistant Professor at Dongguk University, the Republic of Korea. His current research focuses on nanoparticle synthesis by green technology methods and their potential application in biomedical and agricultural fields. He has about 12 years of teaching and research experience in the field of food, pharmacological and nanobiotechnology. Dr. Reymond is Professor of chemistry and chemical biology at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He studied at the ETH Zürich, the University of Lausanne, and the Scripps Research Institute. Bidyut Saha is the elder son of Arati Saha & Haradhan Saha. Dr. Saha obtained his Ph.D degree in electron transfer reaction in micellar media. He was a visiting scientist for the year 2009-2010 in the Department of Chemistry, UBC, Canada. Dr. Saha is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Burdwan University, India. Derek S. Tan received his BS in Chemistry from Stanford in 1995, with Prof. Dale G. Drueckhammer, and his PhD in Chemistry from Harvard in 2000, with Prof. Stuart L. Schreiber. After postdoctoral training with Prof. Samuel J. Danishefsky at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, he began his independent career at MSK in 2002. He is currently a tenured Member and Chairman of the Chemical Biology Program at MSK, a Tri-Institutional Professor at Rockefeller University and Weill Cornell Medicine, and Director of the Tri-Institutional PhD Program in Chemical Biology. His research focuses on diversity-oriented synthesis and rational drug design.

Dr. Jane Ru Choi received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2016. She is currently a Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia, Canada. Her research interests include cell and molecular biology, stem cell technologies, analytical chemistry, biomaterials and nanomaterials, and the development of microfluidic technologies for environmental monitoring, food safety analysis and a wide range of biomedical applications. Dr. Choi has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed articles, 8 patents. Dr. Thierry Christophe is Director of Biology at Galapagos NV, supervising a multidisciplinary department with activities ranging from biochemical and cellular assay development, HTS and SAR screening. He is also responsible for novel technologies development. In his position, Dr. Christophe participated to the identification of > 25 preclinical candidates in various therapeutic areas.

Dr. S.J. Dhoble obtained M.Sc. degree in Physics from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, India in 1988. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1992 on Solid State Physics from Nagpur University, Nagpur. Dr. S.J. Dhoble is presently working as Professor in Department of Physics, R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur, India. During his research career, he is involved in the synthesis and characterization of solid state lighting materials, EVI parameter as well as development of radiation dosimetry phosphors using thermoluminescence, mechanoluminescence and lyoluminescence techniques and utilization of fly ash. Dr. Dhoble published more than six hundred ninety one research papers in international reviewed journals.

Dr. Jing Gao is currently a professor at Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2009 from Harbin Institute of Technology. His research is focused on biomedical photonics, including labeling free detection technologies and applications, the laser development for biomedical applications, and spectroscopy diagnosis of materials. He has published around 70 peer-reviewed papers in numerous scientific publications.

Dr. Agnishwar Girigoswami is an Indian Professor at Chettinad Academy of Research & Education (CARE). Dr. Girigoswami received his doctoral degree from the University of Kalyani in Chemistry in 2004 after completing M.Sc. in Biochemistry. He joined KAIST in 2006 as postdoctoral researcher to work on Zip-code microarray technology for the diagnosis of human genetic mutations. His current research projects focus on the development of nanoparticles based theranostic tools, targeted drug delivery systems and bio-molecular spectroscopy.

Prof. Xiliang Luo received his PhD degree from Nanjing University in 2005. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Dublin City University, Arizona State University and the University of Pittsburgh successively. In 2011, he became a research assistant professor in the Department of Bioengineering, University of Pittsburgh and then a Marie Curie Fellow in the Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford. He then joined Qingdao University of Science and Technology at the end of 2011 as a Taishan Scholar Distinguished Professor. His scientific interests are focused on the development of bioassay systems for the detection of disease biomarkers. He has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Yulia Ovechkina is the High Throughput Screening Director for the Tuberculosis Discovery Research Group at IDRI. Her work is focused on developing high throughput (HTS) and high content (HCS) screening assays. Previously, she established an innovative HCS platform, OncoPanel, to profile therapeutic cancer agents across 240 human tumor cell lines at Ricerca Biosciences. Dr. Ovechkina completed postdoctoral research at Seattle Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center and earned Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Washington, M.S. in Molecular Genetics from the Ohio State University, and B.S. in Cytology and Genetics from the Novosibirsk State University (Russia).

Dr. Melvin Reichman received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester, Center for Brain Research. He has held different positions at several pharmaceutical companies over a 20-year career in industry; including at G.D. Searle; Berlex Biosciences; Ligand Pharmaceuticals; Oncogene Bioscience and DuPont Pharma. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the International Chemical Biology Society (ICBS) since its inception in 2011 and its President from 2015-2016. He founded the Lankenau Institute Medical Research (LIMR)-Chemical Genomics Center (LCGC) in 2007 and named CSO for Small Molecule Development at LIMR in 2015.

Attila Seyhan, PhD is an Associate Prof. at the Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes, Florida Hospital, an Adjunct Prof. at Sanford-Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, Orlando, FL and a Research Affiliate with the Department of Chemical Engineering, MIT.

He has over 16 years of experience in Functional Genomics, Translational Research, drug target, drug, and biomarker discovery and development (including biomarkers of disease, monitoring disease progression, response to specific therapies and stratifying the responders to a specific therapy) from preclinical to early clinical research in biotech, large pharma, and academic sectors in oncology, immunology, and metabolic diseases and diabetes.

Mingqian Tan, PhD, Professor of Food Science and Technology at Dalian Polytechnic University (China), works in the area of food analysis with the emphasis on water dynamics of food products during food processing, and the formation and bio-effects of foodborne nanoparticles. To date, he has published 100 peer-reviewed papers, such as J. Arg. Food Chem., Food Function, Food Anal. Method, JACS, Chem. Mater., J. Mater. Chem. B., which have been cited more than 1600 times with an H index of 21. He has participated in 12 competitive projects and edited one book, and four book chapters.

Dr. Aimin Yu received her PhD in Chemistry at Nanjing University China. After working as a postdoctor at Max Planch Institute of Colloids and Interfaces Germany, Dr Yu moved to Australia in 2003. Dr Yu is currently an Associate Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, based in Melbourne Australia. Her research fields include: synthesis, functionalization and application of nanomaterials; design and preparation of nanostructured thin films; and development of biosensors and assay methods for biomedical applications. Dr Yu has co-authored more than 140 journal articles in these areas.

Run Zhang received his PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry from Dalian University of Technology in 2012. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Department of Physics and Astronomy, Macquarie University in 2012, and Macquarie University Research Fellow (MQRF) in Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science (CBMS) in 2013-2015. He joined the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, The University of Queensland in 2016, and currently an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) research fellow. He is interested in the development of (i) responsive probes for analysis and imaging of biomarkers; (ii) functional nanomaterials for diagnosis and therapy.

Dr. Andrea Bloise is currently research in mineralogy at the Department of Biology, Ecology and Earth Sciences at Calabria University, Rende, Italy. His research focuses on hydrothermal synthesis and flux growth at high temperature and pressure of phases with a special attention to sheet silicates, asbestos minerals and borate. He has expertise in X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD), scanning and transmission electron microscopy (SEM and TEM), thermal analysis (TG/DSC). Mineralogy within the Geology Course at the Department of Biology, Ecology and Earth Sciences (Calabria University). He is the author of several scientific publications and books.

Dr. Sorana D. Bolboacă received her master degree in Medical Informatics and Biostatistics and her Ph.D. in Medicine from the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The author of more than 200 journal articles and four book chapters, Sorana is currently a professor at Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Bolboacă’s main research interest comprises molecular modelling, simulation and applied informatics, applied statistics to a diverse range of scientific applications.

Marko Djordjevic got his PhD in theoretical biophysics and bioinformatics from Columbia University (New York) and has done a postdoc in modeling biological systems at the Mathematical Biosciences Institute, The Ohio State University. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Belgrade as a student of the generation (winner of "Prof. Dr. Djordje Zivanovic" award), and also got the bronze medal at the XXVI International Physics Olympiad (Cambera, Australia). At the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Biology, he leads a computational biology group and teaches courses in bioinformatics, biophysics and systems biology.

Boris Furtula is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac. He received his Ph.D. in Theoretical organic chemistry from the University of Kragujevac. Furtula's research interests are focused on chemical graph theory, chemoinformatics, mathematical chemistry, and chemometrics. He has published more than 120 scientific papers and co-edited 8 books in the "Mathematical Chemistry Series" published at the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac.

Dr. Huixiao Hong is a senior Scientist at National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Arkansas, USA, working on the scientific bases for regulatory application and development of genomics biomarkers. Before joining the FDA, he was the Manager of Bioinformatics Division at Z-Tech, an ICFI company, at NCTR. He held a Research Scientist position at Sumitomo Chemical Company in Japan. He was a visiting scientist at National Cancer Institute (NCI) at National Institutes of Health (NIH). He was also an Associated Professor and the Director of Laboratory of Computational Chemistry at Nanjing University in China. He published more than 160 scientific papers and served as Editor-in-Chief, Executive Editor and Editorial Board member for more than 10 peer-reviewed journals and as reviewer for more than 50 peer-reviewed journals. He received his Ph.D. from Nanjing University in China and did post-doctoral research at Maxwell Institute in Leeds University in England.

Dr. Guohua Huang is currently a Full Professor at Provincial Key Laboratory of Informational Service for Rural Area of Southwestern Hunan, Shaoyang University. He received his Ph.D. in informatics and system biology from Shanghai University. Prof. Huang’s research interest focuses mainly on algorithms of machine learning and application of it in the molecular biology, drug design and drug repositioning. He has recently published more than 50 scientific papers, edited 4 special issues as guest editors, and reviewed more than 50 manuscripts for more than 20 peer-reviewed journals as reviewers.

Muthukumarasamy Karthikeyan is a Principal Scientist in the Chemical Engineering and Process Development Division at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory Pune, India. He holds PhD in Organic Chemistry and working in the area of chemoinformatics and its application in drug discovery and design of novel materials for the past 16 years. He has co-authored a text book on Practical Chemoinformatics and about 40 research papers in the area of chemoinformatics handling large scale molecular data and developed open source tools for harvesting chemical information (http://moltable.ncl.res.in/). He is also the recipient of BOYSCAST Award by Department of Science and Technology and Overseas Associate Award by Department of Biotechnology. He is selected for 2015 Open Innovation Challenge Award by Thomson Reuters and CodeX. Recently, he published two special issues in J. Combi. Chem. High Throughput Screening containing articles on chemoinformatics tools for drug discovery.

Dr. Tarek A. Mohamed obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry through a joint program between the Chemistry Departments at the USC and UMass (USA) with Al-Azhar University (Egypt). He is currently a Full Professor in the Chemistry Department (Faculty of Science) at Al-Azhar University. He previously served at United Arab Emirates University (UAE), Sultan Qaboos University (Oman) and University of Nizwa (Oman). Dr. Mohamed has already authored/co-authored over 55 published manuscripts in refereed ISI international journals. Furthermore, he is a reviewer in 13 ISI-international journals, and he is also a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member of many international conferences.

Dr. Polanski obtained his PhD from the University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland. Dr Polanski also holds a habilitation in organic and medicinal chemistry from the Lodz University of Technology, Lodz, Poland. Currently Dr. Polanski is a Full Professor in the University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland. He has published more than 100 scientific publications and is a named inventor of 20 issued patents. He is a member of the editorial board of Letters in Drug Design & Discovery (Bentham).

Dr. Deepak Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Roorkee (India) and works in the area of Computational Biology and Medicoinformatics. He developed algorithms using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for the diagnosis/treatment of diseases. He was selected as ‘Future Global Leader’ 2017. His excellent research work had won him the prestigious ‘INSA Medal for Young Scientist 2008’ and ‘Haryana Yuva Vigyan Ratna Award. Piotr Wąż (PhD) is a Faculty Adjunct at the Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland. Piotr Wąż's research interest is mathematical modeling in different areas of science such as medicine, chemistry, astronomy. He brought a substantial contribution to developing new molecular descriptors, biomarkers for diabetes, estimators of deterministic chaos. He also created a highly accurate theory of the motion of Phobos and a new method of the classification of the stellar spectra. Since 2007 his main area of research is bioinformatics. Working in this field he developed several new mathematical models and got awarded Habilitation.

Dr. Rashmi K. Ambasta received her Ph.D. from J.W Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany. She went to Boston, USA for her NIH funded postdoctoral training in the field of Cancer, Diabetes and regenerative Medicine. Later, she joined VIT Vellore, India as a faculty in the Department of Biotechnology and further moved to DTU, Delhi, India as a SERB young Scientist and CSIR Scientific Pool Officer funded by the Govt of India. Dr. M.A. Dkhil, started his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Egypt. I did his masters degree from Helwan University (1999) then he begun research on malaria during his PhD (2000-2004) at Molecular Parasitology Institute, Heinrich Heine University, Duesseldorf, Germany. He is working as a full Professor at the King Saud University. His permanent job is at the Faculty of Science, Helwan University, Egypt. Dr. Ahmed Eid Fazary is presently serving as a Researcher Professor at an Egyptian Organization for Biological Products and Vaccines (VACSERA Holding Company), Egypt. He attended Faculty of Science, Cairo University and obtained his Bachelor’s degree with a major in Chemistry in 2000, and Master degree with a major in Analytical Chemistry in 2004. He further obtained his PhD in 2009 from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan in Applied Chemistry. Dr. Mahmoud is currently serving as an associate professor of Molecular Physiology (Faculty of Science) and head of Biotechnology Department (Research Institute of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants) at Beni-Suef University (Egypt). He received his PhD in Physiology in 2012 followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the faculty of Pharmacy, Granada University (Spain), and a visiting academic position at the School of Healthcare Science, Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). He joined the Charité University Medicine-Berlin for 2 years as a fellow of Alexander Von Humboldt foundation and joined Helmholtz Center Munich in 2018. He has been appointed as an associate editor and lead guest editor for many journals, including Nutrition, Metabolism and Oxidative Medicine & Cellular Longevity. Furthermore, he is a member in different societies, including European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS), British Society for Cardiovascular Research (BSCR), Egyptian Association of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Atherosclerosis (EAEDA), Egyptian Society of Natural Toxins.

Dr. Bijo Mathew is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi, India. Dr. Bijo Mathew obtained his M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Tamilnadu, India in 2008 and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, in 2016. Dr. Zhiwei Yang is an assistant Professor in School of Chemistry, Xi’an Jiaotong University. He got the Ph.D. degree in Northeast Forestry University in 2011, and then worked as postdoc in Xi’an Jiaotong University and University of Cincinnati. He started his independent research in 2016. He has 12 years of experience in the research of dynamic structures and functions of biomacromolecules, and molecular dynamics of biological matter. Dr. Hemant Ramachandra Badwaik is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Rungta College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. He did M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from K.M. College of Pharmacy, Utthangudi, Madurai (T.N.) and PhD from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai (C.G.). Dr. Md. Sohrab Hossain is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He has obtained his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has expertise in supercritical fluids technology, hazardous waste management, wastewater treatment, and waste to biofuel production. One of his core research areas is to develop a method for the production of biofuels from waste materials including food waste, sewage sludge. Dr. Sohrab has published over 60 research articles in high impact indexed journals, patents, book chapters, and presentations at international conferences. He has developed a method in the area of sustainable solid waste management using supercritical fluid sterilization technology, which has been recognized by researchers worldwide. He has won several Gold and Silver Medals as the main and a Co-inventor in exhibitions at the national and international levels including the Malaysia Technology Expo 2014 (MTE-2014) and International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX-2013).

Mahmoud Nasrollahzadeh was born in 1981 in Babol. He received his BSc in applied chemistry and MSc in organic chemistry. In 2012, he graduated his PhD in organic chemistry at the Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran and then he joined to chemistry department at the University of Qom as assistant professor. His research interests were the preparation of novel organic molecules, polymer supported metal complexes and new organometallic catalysis for C-C and C-X coupling reactions. Now, his research interests are new processes and scale-up in organic chemistry, organometallic catalysis, phytochemistry, plant-mediated green synthesis of metal and metal oxides NPs & nanocomposites.

Dr. Sarbjit Singh obtained his Ph.D. in 2012 from the Guru Nanak Dev University, India. After completing his Ph.D. he worked in a Sphaera Pharma Pvt. Ltd as a Research Associate. In 2013, he moved to South Korea and joined Korea University as a Research Professor. He joined Dongguk University in 2015, as an Assistant Research Professor. In 2016, he joined the University of Texas, Dallas as a Research Associate. Currently, he is working as a Research Instructor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center USA. His research interest includes developing novel therapeutic agents for the treatment of cancer, infectious diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammatory disorders.

Dr. Mu-Rong Chao received his Ph.D degree from National Cheng Kung University. He had a postdoctoral research training at National Health Research Institutes in Taiwan. He now is a professor in the Department of Occupational Safety and Health at Chung Shan Medical University. His expertise is in analytical toxicology and mass spectrometry-based detection, especially for the analysis of nucleic acids. His research interests are to explore the relation of hazards exposure to adverse health effects, and to develop high throughput mass spectrometric methods for prevention and early diagnosis. Dr. Sevinc KURBANOGLU received her PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry, from Pharmacy Faculty of Ankara University in 2016 under the supervisor of Prof. Sibel A. OZKAN. and Prof. Dr. Arben Merkoçi’s Laboratory at Barcelona Autonoma University. She published over 50 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and 10 book chapters. She was awarded with Outstanding Success Award from Presidency of Higher Education Council of Turkey, as best-PhD-Thesis in 2017. Dr. Wei received his Ph.D. degree at Xiamen University, China, in 2016. He is currently an Assistant Professor, an independent Principle Investigator, at School of Computer Science and Technology, College of Intelligence and Computing, Tianjin University, China. Muthukumarasamy Karthikeyan is a Principal Scientist in the Chemical Engineering and Process Development Division at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory Pune, India. He holds PhD in Organic Chemistry and working in the area of chemoinformatics its application in drug discovery and design of novel materials for the past 16 years. He has co-authored a text book on Practical Chemoinformatics and about 40 research papers in the area of chemoinformatics handling large scale molecular data and developed open source tools for harvesting chemical information (http://moltable.ncl.res.in/). Dr. Sevinc Kurbanoglu obtained PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Ankara University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nano bioelectronics & Biosensor Group at Institute Catala, Barcelona, Spain. She has been serving as a Research and Teaching Assistant Chemistry, Ankara, Turkey. She has contributed her valuable publications in different journals. Her skills and expertise are in Polymerization Materials, Nanomaterials, Polymers, Enzymes, Sample Preparation, Biomaterials, Nanoscience, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography and Chromatography.

Dr. Zhaohui Liang received his PhD degree in Medical Sciences from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 2013. He worked as a registered physician and acupuncturist in Guangzhou, China from 2003 to 2014. Dr. Liang moved to Canada in 2014 and received his master’s degree in Information Systems and Technology from York University, Toronto in 2017. Salem received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Forestry and Wood Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University, Egypt, and the Ph.D. from the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic, in 1999, 2004 and 2011, respectively. He is currently an Associate professor in the Department of Forestry and Wood Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University, Egypt. His research is in the areas of bioactivities of natural products, identification and characterization of extracted natural chemical compounds, wood-treated biofungicides, nanoparticle application and formaldehyde emission from wood-based panels. Several related works have been published by the Journal of Cleaner Production, Industrial Crops, and Products, BioResources, Molecules, Science of the Total Environment, Microbial Pathogenesis, etc. He is also enrolled as an editorial board member of several scientific Journals.

Zhigang Tu started his Master's Degree in image processing at the School of Electronic Information, Wuhan University, China, 2008. In 2015, he received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Utrecht University, Netherlands. From 2015 to 2016, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Arizona State University, US. Then from 2016 to 2018, he was a research fellow at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote sensing, Wuhan University. His research interests include computer vision, image processing, video analytics, and machine learning. He is considered special for motion estimation, object segmentation, object tracking, action recognition and localization, and anomaly detection. He has published more than 40 papers in several journals.

Prof. Bengi Uslu is currently a full Professor at Ankara University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Analytical Chemistry, Turkey. Her areas of interest are electrochemistry, nano/biosensors, drug analysis, redox mechanisms of drugs, spectrophotometry, validation, separation techniques, method development, research, and development. Her postdoctoral research was sponsored by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey and was conducted with Prof. Emil Palecek in the Czech Republic. She has published as author and co-author of more than 200 scientific articles and publications.

Dr. Zhiwei Yang is the Assistant Professor of the School of Science at Xi’an Jiaotong University. He received his Ph.D. from Northeast Forestry University, P.R. China in 2011. His research is in the area of Condensed Matter Physics in Living Systems. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in SCI-indexed journals.

Dr. Quan Zou is presently serving as a Professor in the Institute of Fundamental and Frontier Sciences, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He completed his B.Sc. and M. Sc. in Computer Science from Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2004 and 2007. He has been awarded a degree of PhD in the same field from the same institution in 2009. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM. He worked at Xiamen University and Tianjin University from 2009 to 2018 as an assistant professor, associate professor and professor. His research is in the areas of bioinformatics, machine learning and parallel computing. Several related works have been published by Science, Briefings in Bioinformatics, Bioinformatics, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, etc. Google scholar showed that his more than 100 papers have been cited more than 5000 times.

Dr. Pan Zheng received a PhD and Master of Science (Computer Science) from the Universiti Sains Malaysia and Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) Information Systems Engineering from the Multimedia University. Currently, he is a Lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. He is also an editorial board member in the International Journal of Adaptive and Innovative Systems and Cogent Engineering. Moreover, he has published several scientific papers in distinguished journals.
