His research interests include the isolation and structural characterization of bioactive natural products from higher plants, particularly potential anticancer agents, antileishmanial compounds, cancer chemopreventives, and taste-modifying substances. Of multiple honors obtained, he received the 2010 Norman R. Farnsworth Research Achievement Award from the American Society of Pharmacognosy and in 2016 the Distinguished Scholar Award from OSU.

During her PhD, she had an experience as a Guest Researcher with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) by means of Council of Higher Education scholarship, enabling her to have ability on Natural Product Research through many bioactivity measurements as well as knowledge about statistics. She has supervised a number of national and international MSc and PhD students, and many publications (SCI/SCI-E) have been produced from the theses of the relevant students since 2016. She has published 106 papers of which 100 of them have been published in SCI/SCI-E journals. Additionally, she has been listed among the “World Top 2% Scientists” announced by Stanford University twice (2020 and 2021).

Dr. Alfred Hagemeyer joined Rennovia in 2011 to apply high throughput methodologies to the discovery of catalysts for the production of chemicals from bio-renewable feedstocks. Before joining Rennovia, Alfred was Group Leader at the Catalysis Lab of Sud-Chemie (now Clariant) in Munich developing catalysts for the gas-phase oxidation of commodity chemicals. Prior to joining Sud-Chemie in 2006, he was Distinguished Scientist at Symyx Technologies, conducting high-throughput catalysis research across a wide range of application areas, including selective oxidations and hydrogenations, emissions control and fuel reforming. Before moving to Symyx in 1998, Alfred was a Senior Scientist with Hoechst, Frankfurt, and Project Leader with BASF, Ludwigshafen, after Post-Doctoral Research at The University of Bologna, Italy. Dr. Melvin Reichman received his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester, Center for Brain Research. He has held different positions at several pharmaceutical companies over a 20-year career in industry; including at G.D. Searle; Berlex Biosciences; Ligand Pharmaceuticals; Oncogene Bioscience and DuPont Pharma. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the International Chemical Biology Society (ICBS) since its inception in 2011 and its President from 2015-2016. He founded the Lankenau Institute Medical Research (LIMR)-Chemical Genomics Center (LCGC) in 2007 and named CSO for Small Molecule Development at LIMR in 2015.

He has developed a method in the area of sustainable solid waste management using supercritical fluid sterilization technology, which has been recognized by researchers worldwide. He has won several Gold and Silver Medals as the main and a Co-inventor in exhibitions at the national and international levels including the Malaysia Technology Expo 2014 (MTE-2014) and International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX-2013).
